These notes include an extensive work on ring and rope effects as well as an amazing piece of mental magic using a grocery shopping list. All props are included for this piece.

Also in the notes is Tom's GROBY prediction that caused quite a stir in the magic world a few years back. What happens is this... Five ornate glasses are shown to each contain a colored silk handkerchief. The performer tells the audience that he has made a prediction as to which color will be chosen. A member of the audience is invited to call out a color of their choosing (free choice). Once the color has been determined, the audience member is asked for their Zodiac sign. The performer then reads their horoscope from the current newspaper. Finally, the four un-chosen colors are removed from the glasses. The performer walks out into the audience carrying the glass with the chosen color. He pinches a corner of the hank and slowly removes it. A coin is heard to "tinkle" in the glass. It is poured out, into the spectators hand. He is asked to tell the others what is on the coin. It is HIS Zodiac sign!! Not only has the performer correctly predicted the chosen color, but also the spectators Zodiac sign as well!
