In 1989 Doug beat Evel Knievel's world record by jumping 20 cars. This record breaker was performed with a broken neck, which Doug received 3 days earlier in Canada during his last show. In 1990 Doug set the 250cc WORLD RECORD at New Hampshire International Speedway, London, NH by clearing 25 cars or a total of 181 feet. In 1991 Doug jumped 42 cars for a total of 251 feet putting himself into the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS for the farthest jump ever completed. This is farther that Evel Knievel, Robby Knievel, Gary Wells, or Johnny Airtime have ever jumped. This record stands to this date even though 2 men have died in the attempt to out jump Doug.

Doug Danger jump-off with a purse of over $750,000.00 tragedy strikes! Doug misses an 11 car jump at Hudson Speedway in Hudson, NH and ended up with 17 broken bones including a fractured skull, femur, tibia, fibula, and more. Doug remained in a coma for more than a month! The right side of his brain was damaged and complete memory loss occurred. Doug spent more 2 months in the hospital as an in-patient and 4 months as an outpatient. Eddie Kidd stepped in For Doug in the Kniveil jump-off.

Doug Dangers Motorcycle Spectacular is a one hour presentation that blends time - honored Hollywood - style stunts with brutal car crashes and, of course, high flying motorcycle jumps and stunts. A veteran stunt team with a combines 80 years of stunt performing experience led by Guinness World Record Holder, Doug Danger, will provide thrills and excitement that will appeal to every member of the family.

This show include pyrotechnic acts like the car explosion and the Doomsday Chair. Hollywood -style acts like the Slide for life, Human battering ram, the Leap for Life. Each show also offers three bone crushing car crashes including rollover crashes, the dive bomber crash, and the Steel wall crash. Motorcycle stunts include Doug's Wheelie show, ramp to ground jumps and 2 ramp to ramp jumps.
