Who is Donna Huber? Donna's a Small-Town Girl. She was born on May 27, 1966. She is 5'8", 125 pounds, with brown eyes and naturally black hair. (Which she has colored to brownish red to accommodate her "Shania Twain" Tribute.
 

It was in Sudbury that she was surprised and pleased to receive compliments from strangers commenting on how she looks like "Shania Twain". Donna's reply, "I couldn't believe people were saying that I looked like Shania Twain!! That's such a compliment to me!!!" Shania Twain had commented that after seeing a poster of Donna, "I thought that was me!!! Donna is the best 'Shania Twain Tribute' out there."

Donna began to investigate "Shania Twain" and was flattered at the many people who were exclaiming how she looked like her.
 

Donna set to work practicing to sing like Shania, watching her videos over and over, watching her moves, the way she presented herself.
She practiced extremely hard until one day she felt she was ready.
She presented herself to a friend/agent in the music business who he himself had his own tribute act.

Donna: "I told my friend that I could do anything I set my mind to, and that I would accomplish this. I was terrified, but I knew I at least had to try."

Her friend listened to Donna sing and then decided right then and there that yes - this would work.

They worked to put a band together, practiced for a few months, and the rest is history. Donna has been on the road for 4.5 years as the most successful Tribute Act in Canada and throught the United States and Europe.

Donna has met Shania Twain, as well as Shania Twain's family. She has played for Canadian Troops in Bosnia and Croasia. She has played the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta for 3 consecutive years, and also was a guest on the "Jenny Jones" Show. She also appeared on Nationwide CBS Special, and has had articles in National Post, CMT Magazine, National Enquirer, and appeared on National Enquirer TV.
Donna has also recorded a song duet with Canadian Recording Artist John Mackintosh.
Just out as well - a CD of Donna's own called "Donna Huber - Bring It On"
There has been work on a music video (Cameo) along side Canadian Recording Artist Beverly Mahood.
Also in the works is a small movie role starring Dolly Parton called "The Christmas Wrap"

A great compliment to Donna was the fact the Shania Twain herself had mentioned Donna in her Autobiography.

Donna is also fiercely loyal and caring with regard to her band members. She is quoted as saying, "My existing band members are so incredible!!! They not only work side by side with me - they are also my friends. I care very much for each one of them."
